Happy 2008 to all!!..Hope 2007 was a gd year for you & may 2008 be even better! =)
As mentioned in my previous post, i need to work half day on the new year's eve..but there was nothing much to do so i was kinda slacking and waiting for time to pass..haha..left on the dot at 12.30pm, met Kelvin for lunch and headed home to rest abit and freshen up before gg over to my aunt's place for my cousin's birthday party.
SInce my aunt's place was rather near mine, we decided to make our way there by Kelvin's bicycle, with me riding behind of course..hehe..reached there within 15mins ard 7-ish and most of my relatives were there already. Helped ourselves to the buffet line and enjoyed the food & chit-chatting with my other aunts & uncles..its gd to catch up with them once in a while when everyone's busy with their lives =)
Had the cake cutting session abt 9pm and after that, most of the aunts and uncles left while the guys (cousins + hubby) decided to play cards while us girls (the girlfriends + me) play mahjong, juz friendly games with no money involved..hehe..i'm not really the kind who's into mahjong, but since my bro's girlfriend is interested to learn and they need pple to make a table of 4, i joined in..we played for at least 3 hrs?..coz we did not notice the arrival of the new year until we hear fireworks from a distance to realise that its already past midnight..haha..that's how engrossed we were..keke..
We stayed for a little while more before we call it a day ard 1am and make our way home..its a really nice way to spend the new year's eve with the bunch of cousins and have fun together =)
