So after much discussion, decided to organize it on 22 Feb Sunday since most pple are available that day..and as the day draws nearer with the weather getting hotter by the day..that particular colleague who made the suggestion started to regret it liao..haha..too bad, since everything's planned alrdy, not possible to cancel it now..keke..
We arranged to meet 9am at the entrance..yes 9am early on a Sunday =_=..no choice, coz they wanna avoid the afternoon sun as much as possible so early in the morning is the only way..hehe..took some pictures when the 1st few of us got there:
We waited until 9.30am before everyone arrived..too early for some of them i guess..hehe..anyway, we managed to get free tickets as 2 of my colleagues have membership with the zoo and hence all of us got to go for FREE!!..haha..Here are some photos i took, wont be posting any photos of the animals though..hehe.. =p
We went to the Amphitheatre to catch one of the show, 'The Rainforest Fights back' at 10.30am, which is recommended by one of my colleagues who is a 'regular' at the zoo..keke..thereafter, went to the 'Ah Meng Restaurant' for early lunch so as to avoid the lunch crowd.Was walking half way when it drizzled abit..so we took shelter under some trees until it cleared up before proceeding on..went to the Fragile Forest and by the time we came out, it was raining pretty heavily..so we waited under shelter until the heavy rain becomes a drizzle before making our way back to the entrance..the rain wasn't really heavy but the wind was quite strong so the parents bought raincoats for their kids to prevent them from getting soaked.
Managed to get to the entrance safely and went to the KFC juz outside the entrance for a drink before everyone headed home..it was quite fun, yet tiring outing..hehe..well, something like this once in a while is pretty nice..heheee.. =)
But then I was on MC the next day..haha..had a bad fever the nite before and on Mon, so had to take MC..think its coz of the weather..heh..but i'm fine now =)
2 more days to the weekends..have a great week ahead!! =D
