Was on leave on Friday to give myself a pre-bday break..hahaa..and met my mom for an early dinner. Later that day, hubby told me his plans for the next day - my birthday & our 3rd wedding anniversary, he said we will be leaving home early and will only be back on Sun so I've got to bring an extra set of clothes to change..sounds so exciting!..haha..can guess we will be stayng overnite at some hotel but he's not telling me as yet, all he told me was it's gg to be a long day ahead =p
Anyway, got up at 8+ to get ready as he says we gotta leave home by 10am..dolled myself up and put extra food for my piggies as I won't be home at nite to refill their bowls..hehe..left home ard 10am and hubby suggested taking the cab coz we may not make it in time if we take the mrt..and we got on a cab to make our way down to Suntec which i only knew moments b4 we got on the cab..i managed to guessed the 1st thing on his itinerary = ktv @ k-lunch, coz he told me we gotta be there at 11am..there's not a lot of places/shops that kinda have specific timings, so i guessed we are gg for k-lunch and I was right..haha! =)
Since i already knew we are gg ktv, he then told me we will be catching a movie at 3pm..i know we will be catching a movie that day coz i was the one who suggested catching the 'Wolverine' movie..hehe..
1st stop: K-lunch @ K-box
Hubby challenged the Leo Ku's '情歌王' and his voice went coarse after that..poor thing..hehe =x
We left earlier at ard 1.40pm coz we got to shop for my present..yep, he says he would rather have me choose something that i like than for him to get something which i may not like..so off we go!..hehe..I had in mind to get jewellery - either a pair of diamond earrings or a bracelet, so we went to Lee Hwa jewellery to look around..and i ended buying both! =x

Hubby told me that his budget is anything within $2k, and after the discount for both items, the price is abt $1.7+k so we ended up buying both..hehe =p The sales lady suggested that I can put them on straight away and thus, I wore them for the whole day..haha =)
After the jewellery shopping and burning a big hole in hubby's wallet =x, we headed back to the cinema..after getting our popcorn n drink, went into the theatre to settle down since it is already opened for seating. And guess what, he got the Director's Club seats..he's really gg all out to surprise me this year..hehe..the seats are very spacious and comfy =)
After the ride, it was about dinner time and we initially wanted to have our dinner at the Japanese restaurant located at level 1..but there was a 'full house' sign stuck on it door..guess its all fully booked for that day =(
We didn't have our dinner at any of the restaurants located at the Flyer coz hubby suggested gg to the hotel and have dinner at one of the restaurants there..once again, i have no idea which hotel it was until we are getting on the cab..and its the M Hotel =p
We reached the hotel lobby and hubby asked me to take wait for him and look after our belongings while he went to do the check-in. After he was done, made our way to take the lift to our room..i thought we will be staying in a standard room but was pretty shocked when he pressed the highest floor, 29th floor --> M Suite!!..well he really surprised me with that..hehe =)

I find the 'Wolverine' movie nice, maybe coz i've watched the 'X-men' cartoons with my bro when we were young so can relate to the story..hehe..though i dont really like the Wolverine character coz he's always very impulsive, but Hugh Jackman really plays the character very well, don't think there will be anyone else who can replace him as Wolverine..hehe =p
After the movie, we are off to the next destination..hubby described it to be 'big, round & expensive' --> S'pore Flyer lor..haha..both of us have yet to go on the Flyer before so he planned to go there on our special day =)

There was nothing much so we decided to board the Flyer..there wasn't much crowd so the capsule we got on has only 5 persons, us and a family of 3..took some photos while we were in there since there was nothing else to do..haha =p

After exploring the room and its facilities, we decided to go to one of the restaurant 'The Buffet' for dinner..it is a steamboat buffect and i was told by my colleagues who had been there, that their laksa soup for the steamboat is nice..hehe..went to the restaurant but was told the place is full!!..everywhere's full lor..haiz..anyway, we left our contact number with them so they can call us when there is an available table, estimated to be abt an hour's wait. So went back to our room to pass time, luckily hubby brought his laptop along and we watched some anime while waiting..haha..
At around 8.10pm, the restaurant called and said the table is ready so made our way down again..the spread is pretty good and fresh too. We had the chicken soup and laksa soup for the steamboat..the laksa soup is really nice..can go try if u like steamboat..hehe..only took a photo of the steamboat coz the place is really crowded..hehe =p
Had a very full dinner and returned to our room to rest. Watched abit of tv, anime and tried the jacuzzi before finally gg to bed..it had been a tiring yet fun-filled day for me, thanks to hubby for taking the trouble to plan so much for this day even though he is currently busy with his assignments..feel so loved and happy! =D
Woke up at 9am the next morning to prepare and went for breakfast at the M Club lounge. After breakfast, packed up and took some photos before checking-out..keke =p
