Continuing from my previous entry..we went to the Korean BBQ restaurant at the Esplanade (Colours by the Bay)..my ex-colleague couldn't come & pick us up in time coz she was caught in a bad traffice jam at newton, so we decided to go by ourselves as we were all very hungry to wait anymore..haha..
So we walked all the way to Esplanade since our office is quite near, took us abt 15-20mins' of slow walk. Though it wasn't very far, but as the weather was pretty humid, some of us were alrdy perspiring by the time we reached & the restaurant wasn't very cooling with all the BBQ gg on..hehe..but the manager noticed that & adjusted the air-con to cool us down, very attentive of him..heh
Since it was our 1st time in a korean BBQ restaurant, we don't really know what to order & how much, so the manager offered to help us order with a combination of their specialties. Their seafood pancake was really nice & we ordered a 2nd serving for it..hehe..the food came to be juz nice for the 8 of us & we were served fruits as desserts =)

Overall, it was a gd experience coz the service & food was nice..esp the manager who was very attentive to us =)
After which, we decided to go catch the 'Enchanted' movie at Great World. We got one of our colleagues' hubby to help us make internet booking for the 9.20pm show & quickly left the restaurant at 9.10pm. Luckily we managed to get into the cinema before the show starts (thanks to the advertisements..hehe) The show was pretty nice & humorous, and I like the songs they sing in it..can go catch it if u like this kinda shows =)

After 5 long weeks, the day has finally come...to view my wedding photos!!!..hahaa!
Our appt is at 1pm so we made our way down ard 12pm..was very excited to see how the photos will turn out to be..hehe..
When we got there, my co-ordinator cum makeup artist, Elson was not ard coz he's busy on the 2nd floor doing makeup for those couples who are having their photoshoot that day..but the photos are all ready so we started looking at them w/o him 1st. My photos are all developed into hard copies which explains why it took so long before I can view them..but I do notice some couples viewing their photos in soft copy version on the computer, not sure why the difference..but anyway, I'm very glad mine's hard copy coz we can compare the photos better =)
Most of the photos are very nicely taken, credits to my photographer, Ben! =) But its a pity that the photos for my last outit didn't turn out very well..dunno why but both of us juz didn't look nice, coz our smiles looked very fake..think its coz we are both tired from smiling for the whole day that's why our smiles in the last few photos aren't very natural..hehe...nevertheless, I still have very nice ones of the other outfits so it's alrite!.. =)
So we sorted the photos by outfits, laid them out by category & picked out the good ones. After that, we looked thru the pile of good ones for repeated or almost similar poses & decide on which is better..we basically went thru various levels of screening coz we aren't given that many photos in our package to take all the gd ones..so we spent abt 2.5hrs there looking thru the photos & deciding which to take. And in the end, we topped up 10 more photos..haha..was telling myself that i don't intend to top up any at all but well, since Elson quoted us an affordable price for the 10 more, so we juz went for it lor..heh
After the photo selection, we went down to Chinatown to check out Japan travel packages at the CTC travel agency for our honeymoon in Mar/Apr..while enquiring on the dates for their Japan packages, I borrowed their calendar to see which days do the dates fall on, and guess what, their calendar was wrong!!..coz I know very well that my Actual Day is on a Sunday, but its a Sat on their calendar!..I was very puzzled & pointed it out to the travel agent, he was like, 'sure anot?' so I showed him my hp calendar, while he checks his computer calendar..apparently, their calendar doesn't have 29th Feb in it and so all the dates after Feb are 1 day earlier...hahaa...this is the 1st time I ever came across a calendar that's wrong..pretty rare hor..keke..imagine what would happen if other pple refer to it w/o realising that its wrong? It can be pretty disasterous
Anyways, we did not book any package as the agent told us to wait for their in-house fair where we can get better deals from the same package so we've decided to wait..thanks to that, Kelvin is now intending to go free & easy instead for our honeymoon..hehe, so he will be getting the expertise from one of his friends who likes to travel free & easy to Japan quite frequently..hope we can tap on his knowledge & make the best out of our honeymoon trip! =)
Our day didn't juz end here, coz Kelvin's maternal grandma and grandpa are having their birthday celebration that day so we made our way from Chinatown to Clementi for their birthday dinner & cake cutting session..it was a pretty gd get-to-know session as this is juz my 2nd time meeting his maternal family members..was abit awkward but overall was nice..hehe.. =)
Woah, this is a really long entry..doubt I will write something this long again..hahaa..as for today, its a slacking day so nothing much to update..hee =p
