Simplistic?: Cosfest 2009

Sorry for the lack of updates..its either got nothing much to update or too lazy to update..haha..well, guess i should do a bit of update on event over the weekend..hehe =)

Went to the Cosfest 2009 on Sunday with hubby and 1 of his friend..it is held at Downtown East D'Marquee, which is very far for us..but luckily hubby's friend got car and he lives nearby, so we got a lift from him..hehe..if not, ask me to go all the way down by public transport, i gotta think twice abt gg lor..haha =p

So we set off at abt 1pm..reached Downtown East ard 1.35pm and went for lunch at a Korean BBQ chicken restaurant there..the foods so-so, we order the grilled dishes and the meat came out to be quite burnt =_=..

Headed for the venue after lunch and it's not too hard to find, coz there are lots of pple standing outside in their costumes..hehe..we headed in and the cosplay competition is going on in there..there were some booths selling anime/manga related merchandise, and some booths which sell fan-art items, such as posters, badges, bookmarks etc that are all drawn by the fans themselves..saw quite a number of impressive ones..but didnt dare to take any photos of them..heh =x

Anyway, we walked ard and saw a lot of pple cosplaying, who are not taking part in the competition but came for the occasion to cosplay..i must say, i find some of those who did not take part in the competition, are way better than those who were up there on the stage lor.. =p

I feel this is the most impressive 1..the poor guy in it has to stand still for long hours and his friends had to help him remove the mask so that he can take a breather..imagine how stuffy it can be to wear the mask..really 佩服!
