The lunar new year was a pretty tiring one for me coz gotta go several places for visiting and activities with the cousins..but as usual, no photos coz I don't really have the habit to carry my camera in my bag all the time, moreover with the ang pows i've gotta give, not much space for the camera too..hehe =p
1st day of CNY:
Went over to my in-laws' place at Jurong West then to hubby's maternal grandma's at Clementi in the afternoon.
Rushed over to my maternal grandma's place at Marsiling (it was really difficult getting a cab during the CNY.. =_=) Caught up with my cousins and relatives who were still around, some have already left >.< hope I can catch them next year..the cousins suggested gg ktv later at nite, but i need to go off to another place so left the organising to my bro..haha =p
Took a cab down to Potong Pasir to hubby's aunt's place for another visitation session..stayed till 8+ before we set off back to Woodlands to join the cousins for the ktv session..
We were basically travelling all over Singapore that day and all by cab, so u can imagine how costly the cab fares are.. =_='' Anyway, for the ktv sesssion, there were 2 rooms: 1 for the youngsters and the other for the uncles (including my dad) and aunties..haha..coz we somehow managed to psycho some uncles and aunties to go ktv and they decided to have a separate room coz they say we will be bored by all their hokkien songs..haha..think they had a great time with the singing and drinking..heard my dad KO-ed the moment he got home..hehee
2nd day:
Went to visit both our paternal grandmas on this day: 1 in Simei and the other in Johor Bahru, so more money spent on the cab fare..so shiong.. =_=
Planned a gathering at my place on this day and so after coming back from JB, contacted my cousins to meet up and get food and drinks to my house..after that was all the gaming and eating..hehe..sorry no photos again =p
3rd day:
Went over to my parents' and out to Yishun to catch a movie with my family: Percy Jackson and the Lightning thief..my bro was pretty reluctant to watch it initially coz he thinks it's gg to be something children-friendly like Harry Potter, but can't help it since my dad is the one who suggested the show..haha =p Anyway the show isn't that bad lah, pretty funny and entertaining..so not much complaints from me =) After the movie was dinner and then back home..need to get enough rest for work next day
Work was pretty slack the following day coz believe most pple were on leave and as for my department, there were only 2 of us at work with the rest on leave..so we were basically half working, half chit-chatting..hehe..
Ok, think that's all I've gotta update on my CNY..no photos so this is quite a wordy post..hehe =p
