Company D&D ^^

Yesterday was my company's D&D @ Swissotel the Stamford and the theme is 'Back to School'..when hubby heard about it, he actually encouraged me to wear the set of uniform which i bought during our honeymoon trip in Japan..i was quite hesitant at 1st coz i know my colleagues aren't that sporty to dress up according the theme. But when i mentioned it to one of my colleague, she was interested and so we both decided to dress up for the event..since there's company, why not?..keke

Anyway, the uniform i've bought from Japan wasn't a real school uniform, as in it's not from a real-life school but from one of the animes we watched..haha..so when i wore it, i feel more like a cosplayer than a student -_-''

You must be thinking, how do i get to the hotel? By cab? Nope, I still took the MRT..but i'm not so brave to take the MRT in that outfit, coz its sure draw weird glances from pple..so what did i do?..i removed the cape, stuffed it into my bag and put on a long jacket which is almost as long as the dress..haha..trying to make it as low profile as possible..keke..i'm not sure if it actually works but at least i felt more comfortable like that =p

At the hotel with my colleague, they have free popcorns and cotton candy for us all!!..hee =D

There were lotsa pple dressed up for the occasion, I saw a lot of sailor uniforms, some local school uniforms, cheerleading uniforms, girl guides etc etc..there are more pple dressed up for the event as compared to previous years mainly coz this year's held on a Saturday and pple have more time to prepare, while previous years' were on weekdays whereby we are only given 2 hours off to prepare.

It's my 3rd year attending the company D&D and the door gift for this year is so so much better than the previous 2 years:

It's a 1GB thumbdrive, not bad rite?..looks pretty sleek too..hehe =)

Another happy thing for this D&D is...i won a prize from the lucky draw!!..hehe..it's the 44th prize out of the total of 60 prizes - $80 Isetan vouchers ^^ This is the 1st time i've ever won anything from a lucky draw..keke..so happy!!..luckily its not some spa/facial vouchers since i don't go for such things..hehe..but if really got those, also better than nothing lah..hehe =p

Can use these to go shopping liao!!..hehee (^v^)y

Left the venue slightly after 12am when everything's over..there is actually a 'disco night' after that for pple to dance but since i don't dance, go home lor..heh

Overall, i had a great time during this year's D&D..hehe =D
