Ok, let me start off with last weekend..

Took a lift from hubby's friend who lives nearby to the the Anime Fair Asia 2008 (AFA2008) at Suntec. We got there at about 11.20am and there was already a crowd and we saw plenty of cosplayers in the vicinity. Queued for the tickets for abt 30mins, and went for our lunch at Kuishinbo. Spent abt an hour at the buffet before heading back to the exhibition hall. The venue is really small as compared to the one we went to in Japan, really cannot compare lah..hehe..there was an area to exhibit figurines, another to showcase some animes and the rest are stalls set up by local vendors to sell their stuff, there is a stage too whereby they have invited certain celebrities from the industry, from the designer for Gundam models to singers who sang those anime opening/ending songs, all from Japan..which is pretty impressive..hehe..
And guess what? I forgot to bring my camera of all things!!..i did remember but as we were rushing to go out, i forgot abt it T_T wanna kick myself for forgetting..But luckily, my bro went the next day and so i've asked him to help me take some photos..though not a lot but better than nothing lah..hehe..enjoy!
I saw someone cosplaying one of these Gundam robots when I was there, impressive!!

Met my colleague at Marina Square in the afternoon to check-in at Ritz-Carlton..wasn't too sure on how to make our way there and walked 1 big round before finally finding it -_-'' Apparently, there aren't any directional signs in Marina Square area that tells you how to go to Ritz-Carlton, there are only directions for Marina Mandarin and Pan Pacific, so funny when Ritz-Carlton is relatively near too..weird..
Anyway, we finally check-in ard 3+ and were given a corner room on the 14th floor..yay!!..hehe..one of our colleagues brought her daughter along to use the hotel's swimming pool..hehe..the room is really nice and cozy!!..here are some photos we took..hehe
My colleague and I went to Carrefour to get some milk and we treated ourselves to a milk bath later at nite!..shiok!!..keke..we stayed up till almost 2am chit-chatting..and we gotta wake up at 6am the next day!!..it was a very long day on Monday for us, started preparing the place for the seminar at 7am and everything lasted till almost 11pm at nite..by the time i reached home and get to bed, its already 12am..so tired!!..and i was stoning in office the next day..haha..brain process was really slow..keke..
But the hotel stay was really splendid!!..hehee wat made it better is that it's FOC!!..hahaa =p
