Just came back on Monday from a trip to KL & Genting..hehe..have quite a few things to update but just didn't have the time =x
1st of all, an update on my pre-lasik evaluation..I'm UNSUITABLE for lasik!! T_T..the doc says my cornea's too thin, in fact thinner than average and with my high myopia, not able to correct totally and will have residual degree of abt 200+ with no room for enhancement..so sad lor...can you imagine how disappointed i was to hear that when i'm all pumped up and ready to go through the op??..haiz..anyway, the doc recommended another option, which is the Implantable Contact Lens (ICL) which is putting a pair of lens between the iris and our natural lens, aka having a pair of contact lens IN your eyes rather than outside..the good thing abt this is the recovery is faster as there is no cornea tissue damage, your cornea shape will not get altered unlike lasik which changes the shape of ur cornea, and lastly, its reversible so can remove if you wish due to some reasons...but the mega negative thing abt it is the price!!...for my eyes, it will cost me $7.8k!!!..that's more than twice the costs of a lasik surgery lor...and that makes me even more sian coz i only have this option if i really wanna do w/o specs or contact lens... T_T
Actually hubby offered to help me pay half of the cost for the op if i really want to..but with the price, i really dunno if i shld go ahead with it even though i'm very tempted abt it..and feel quite bad to burden hubby with the costs for something i want n not need, as he is still in the midst of his studies and so need to pay sch fees n stuff..though he assured me that he can cope with it..hmmm..will give it some thought 1st bah...wat do you think? should i or should i not?
Ok, enough abt the eye op thingy..moving on is my recent trip to KL & Genting with hubby, mother-in-law and sis-in-law. Stayed at the Hotel Capitol, which is where hubby and I stayed in during our 1st trip to KL..went back there coz we find its not too bad in terms of the room and most impt of all, the location!..hehe..its located right smack in the middle of the Times Square, BB (Bukit Bintang) Plaza and Sungei Wang..a very ideal location if ur aim is shopping..hehe =D
The things are pretty cheap there, gg at RM10 - RM30 for most clothings but the catch is, no trying..hehe..but that's find with me since i shop online too, at least this i can feel the product and its so much cheaper!!..keke..bought 1 dress, 2 bags and 1 vest at KL, and 1 pair od shoes and a dress in Genting..not really that much loot coz i was busy helping my sis-in-law to choose her clothings..hehe..being KPO lah, but am happy with my loot..hee =D
Haven't took any photos of my loot (including those from Malacca, 1 mth liao! =x) will post them soon once I find the time to lay them nicely and take photos..hehe =p
