Sorry for the lack of updates..been pretty lazy to update after the super long posts for my honeymoon..haha
These are some pretty backdated posts..
Met up with my best buddies over the weekend to pass them the souvenirs from Japan..went to have lunch at this Japanese restaurant, Sun with Moon..funny that I juz don't get tired of eating Japanese food even though I've been eating them for the past 2 weeks..hah
Anyway, the decor of the place looks nice and the seats are pretty comfy with cushions..hehe..and we ordered the lunch set which is between $13.80 - $19.80, the food and service aren't too bad..can give it a try if you are in the area =)
Went shopping after the heavy lunch and i bought a cardigan while Weiling bought a top and Erica got a pair of nice shoes. After meeting the gals, went off to meet Kelvin for dinner =)
For this past week, had a few sessions of heavy lunch..one was on Wednesday which is a treat from one of our bosses..we went to Grand Hyatt's Straits Kitchen for lunch buffet..the food is really good!! =)
On the same day was our company's movie treat and everyone in my dept got a ticket to go! (we gotta go through a balloting system in order to get the movie tickets and we were very lucky that everyone got one! =D) The movie we watched was the 'Forbidden Kingdom', well..its kinda lame but pretty funny..heh, its free so 'mai hiam buay pai lah'..keke
And the next day (Thur) was another heavy lunch session. We decided to go for a gd meal within ourselves as our peak is coming soon and the trainers won't have much chance to go for nice long lunches in the near future. So we went to this rather new place in Raffles City: Shokudo - Japanese food bazaar (Japanese again!!..haha) It works like Marche, buy everything with a card and pay later when you are leaving. The spread includes the usual jap food like curry rice, teppanyaki and desserts like the japanese red bean ice cream etc..not too bad but i find some of the stuff pretty ex..heh..can give it a try some time =)
Its Kelvin's grandma's birthday today and she is having a buffet session at home to celebrate..so went over to her place at Simei in the evening. As most of his cousins are elder than Kelvin, they are all married with kids..think the eldest is only primary school..so there were a lot of kids in the house, and maids as well..every cousin has a maid with them to take care of the kids so can imagine its like a gathering for the maids too..haha
Well, that's all for my past weeks since my return from Japan..will try to update soon..hee =p
